This condition has become a serious concern in primary healthcare services, particularly in community health centers, because it may affect service quality and patient safety. Tampaksiring 2 Public Health Center faces increased workload after the pandemic, limited healthcare personnel, and high service demands, which elevate the risk of burnout among nurses. This study aimed to describe the incidence of burnout and the implementation of nursing care for nurses experiencing burnout at Tampaksiring 2 Public Health Center. Methods: A descriptive case study was conducted at Puskesmas Tampaksiring 2 from March to May 2025 involving 11 nurses. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observation, and completion of the Maslach Burnout Inventory (MBI), supplemented by workload documentation review. Nursing care was delivered systematically based on SDKI, SLKI, and SIKI standards. Results: A total of 54.5% of nurses showed high burnout levels, characterized by severe emotional exhaustion, depersonalization, and reduced personal accomplishment. The primary nursing diagnosis was fatigue (keletihan). Energy management and psychosocial support interventions resulted in significant improvements in MBI scores after four weeks. Conclusion: Burnout among nurses at Puskesmas Tampaksiring 2 is at an alarming level, requiring structured nursing interventions and managerial policy measures.
Asih Devi Rahmayanti Copyright (c) 2026 Asih Devi Rahmayanti https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0 2026-07-31 2026-07-31 6 1 1 7 10.58467/ijons.v6i1.282 THE INFLUENCE OF EDUCATION ON BULLYING PREVENTION ON THE LEVEL OF KNOWLEDGE ABOUT BULLYING AMONG GRADE IX ADOLESCENTS AT STATE SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL 3 MANISRENGGO https://journal.khj.ac.id/index.php/ijons/article/view/267
Background: Bullying cases among adolescents in schools remain high and have negative impacts on physical and psychological health. The sample size consisted of two participants. The techniques used included interviews, observation, physical examination, documentation, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for conventional wound care using honey. Results: Conventional wound care using honey was carried out for 3x24 hours and the results showed that diabetic ulcers experienced better changes as evidenced by the results, namely reddish wounds, no pus, no swelling, wounds appeared moist, and blood sugar results in both patients decreased. Conclusion: This study concluded that low glucose levels can accelerate the healing of diabetic ulcers. Conventional wound care using honey can also accelerate the healing of diabetic ulcers.
Badriah Ainun Fadillah Copyright (c) 2026 Badriah Ainun Fadillah https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0 2026-07-31 2026-07-31 6 1 15 23 10.58467/ijons.v6i1.258 THE ROLE OF BARCODE-BASED MEDICATION ADMINISTRATION IN SUPPORTING MEDICATION SAFETY IN HOSPITALS: A LITERATURE REVIEW https://journal.khj.ac.id/index.php/ijons/article/view/270
Background: Medication administration errors are a patient safety issue that may result in injury, prolonged hospitalization, increased healthcare costs, and death. Barcode Medication Administration (BCMA) is a barcode-based verification technology used to confirm patient identity, medication, dose, time, and route before medication administration.

Objective: This article aims to review scientific evidence regarding the role of BCMA in preventing medication administration errors and supporting patient safety in hospitals.

Methods: A literature review was conducted using PubMed and ScienceDirect on April 26–27, 2024. The keywords included barcode medication administration, patient safety, medication error, and hospital. Articles were considered eligible if they were published between 2015 and 2024, available in full text, open access, conducted in hospital settings, and addressed BCMA or medication administration safety. Of 662 identified articles, five met the criteria and were synthesized narratively.

Results: The synthesis showed that BCMA has the potential to support patient safety by improving patient and medication verification, strengthening adherence to the rights of medication administration, and reducing several types of medication administration errors. However, its benefits are influenced by infrastructure readiness, barcode quality, hardware and software issues, workflow compatibility, user training, and the risk of non-compliance or workarounds.

Conclusion: BCMA is a technology that has the potential to help prevent medication errors and improve patient safety in hospitals. However, its successful implementation depends not only on the availability of the technology, but also on organizational readiness, nurse training, system integration, and user compliance in consistently following scanning procedures.
Izma Mega Ulita Dana Prayoga Irawan Ronggo Adi Sutoyo Hasan Thoha Copyright (c) 2026 Dana, Izma, Adi, Thoha https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0 2026-07-31 2026-07-31 6 1 24 39 10.58467/ijons.v6i1.270 IMPLEMENTATION OF NURSING ACTION OF PUZZLE PLAYING DISTRACTION IN REDUCING ANXIETY IN PRESCHOOL CHILDREN DUE TO HOSPITALIZATION IN THE CHANDRA ROOM, RUMKIT TYK II Dr. J. A LATUMETEN AMBON https://journal.khj.ac.id/index.php/ijons/article/view/285
Background: Hospitalization in children often causes anxiety due to the unfamiliar hospital environment, frightening medical procedures, and separation from a comfortable environment. This anxiety condition can hinder the treatment process and reduce the child's cooperation during medical procedures.
